Vegeta dominates Granolah with the fearsome power of Ultra Ego, shrugging off attacks and growing stronger with every blow he absorbs. He reveals the existence of the Gods of Destruction and names his new state. However, Granolah evolves his left eye to match, turning the tide and forcing the Heeters to accelerate their own plans with the Cerealian Dragon Balls.
Vegeta blasts Granolah and appears in front of him, grabbing his scarf. He warns the Cerealian that his power has gone to his head, then batters him with heavy blows. When Granolah strikes Vegeta's stomach, the Saiyan barely flinches, claiming he grows stronger with every hit. He hurls Granolah headfirst into the ancient city below. A stunned Granolah asks what a God of Destruction is. Vegeta explains that such beings exist across the multiverse, and Universe 7's own Destroyer taught him about this power, though it is entirely his own. The two clash again as Granolah fires a volley of blasts. Vegeta withstands them all and charges. In desperation, Granolah raises an Energy Shield. He asks why Vegeta does not dodge like Goku. Vegeta scoffs, dismissing Perfected Ultra Instinct as inferior, declaring he is "all ego." He names his new state Ultra Ego and shatters the shield with a double kick.
From afar, the elder Namekian Monaito watches the destruction, wondering if Granolah is fighting Frieza. Furious at losing, Granolah vows never to fall to one of Frieza's grunts. Vegeta tells him the truth: Frieza also destroyed the Saiyan homeworld. Granolah is shocked but refuses to halt his revenge. His companion Oatmeel tries to highlight contradictions in the Heeters' story, but Granolah discards his earpiece, declaring he needs no support. He vows to grow stronger mid-fight, hurling a building at Vegeta with Telekinesis. Vegeta destroys it with Hakai. Meanwhile Oatmeel remotely pilots Granolah's ship to retrieve him.
The battle evens out as Vegeta takes too much damage. He fires a Double Galick Cannon, but Granolah stands firm. Vegeta hurls a Sphere of Destruction, claiming it will annihilate anything it touches. In response, Granolah evolves his left eye, unlocking his full potential and destroying Vegeta's attack. A severely injured Vegeta lies on the ground, stunned. Granolah sarcastically thanks him for awakening his true power. Elsewhere, Elec confirms everything is proceeding as planned, and the Heeters set out for the first Cerealian Dragon Ball.
