Granolah Presses the Advantage

The battle continues with Granolah consistently outperforming Gas, who grows frustrated. Oil worries the wish was wasted, but Macki insists Gas would never accept humiliation. Gas begins adapting, blocking Granolah's attacks after studying his patterns. Despite this, Granolah deploys clones to attack from multiple angles. Gas destroys every clone but the diversion leaves him open for a devastating blow that sends him into a lake. Oil and Macki rush to rescue him. Granolah collapses to his knees from the toll of maintaining the clones but senses the fight is not over.

The Seal Broken

Elec arrives and berates the battered Gas. Macki questions how he can be losing when the wish made him strongest. Elec confirms the wish was made but says Gas must unlock another power. He removes a necklace from Gas's head, shocking his siblings, who recall this went badly forty years ago. Gas thrashes as his suppressed nature surfaces. Elec orders him to endure. Gas screams, swelling in size as energy erupts around him. He transforms into a feral form. Monaito tells the Saiyans he witnessed this state before, during Gas's original fight with Bardock. The transformed Gas pummels Granolah, who cannot withstand the onslaught.

Gas Awakens

Vegeta asks how Bardock defeated this form, but Monaito was unconscious by then. Macki and Oil try to reach Gas, but he swats them aside, unable to tell ally from enemy. Gas turns on Vegeta, then Goku. Staring at Goku's face triggers memories of Bardock overpowering him forty years ago. Gas recoils in agony. Elec calls out, reminding Gas of his promise to never lose again. The words break through. Gas's body shifts as he seizes control, emerging in a sleek awakened form with his mind intact. Elec declares his brother the strongest in the universe. Goku grimly notes the awakening. Elec orders Gas to destroy all who oppose them, and Gas nods.
