Overview

Super Class-up builds upon the foundation established by Class-up, representing the next rung on the Hero Avatar advancement ladder in Dragon Ball Heroes. Players who have already completed their initial Class-up promotion can work toward this second tier, which delivers another round of stat increases, new abilities, and visual changes.

The most notable upgrade for Saiyan avatars is access to Super Saiyan 3. This legendary transformation, originally achieved by Goku during the Buu Saga, is characterized by its dramatically lengthened golden hair, pronounced brow ridge, and tremendous energy output. Within the Heroes game system, unlocking Super Saiyan 3 provides a substantial combat advantage that reflects the form's status in the main series as one of the most powerful pre-god-tier Saiyan transformations.

Each non-Saiyan race receives comparable upgrades suited to their unique characteristics. Majin, Frieza Clan, Namekian, Android, and Shinjin avatars all gain their own version of an enhanced state, along with additional cosmetic changes to their outfits and appearance. The Demon God avatars once again receive only the statistical benefits, with their visual design remaining unchanged.

Super Class-up has appeared in the Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission manga, where avatars at this tier participate in tournaments and battles that showcase their enhanced abilities. In Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, the naming convention shifted; what was called Super Class-up in the original game became "Ultimate Class-up" or "Ultimate Class" in World Mission. This can cause some confusion when comparing across different versions of the game, but the underlying function remains the same: it is the second step in the avatar progression system, positioned between Class-up and God Class-up.
