Litt

Race

A race of small, bird-like humanoid warriors from Planet Litt who serve in the Frieza Force. They are first referenced during the Captain Ginyu Saga when Vegeta notes that the small Battle Armor he gave Gohan and Krillin was originally made for the Litts. Green-skinned variants comprised the majority of Paragus's soldiers in the Broly film.

Small Soldiers, Bird-Like Bearing

The Litts are a sapient species of bird-like humanoid aliens native to Planet Litt. They are notably smaller than the average Earthling, a detail that becomes plot-relevant when Vegeta provides child-sized Battle Armor to Gohan and Krillin on Planet Namek, explaining that the suits were originally manufactured for the diminutive Litts. Their avian features and compact stature make them one of the more physically distinctive species serving in the Frieza Force.

Despite their small size, the Litts are classified as warriors. Planet Litt maintains a military presence that, like so many other worlds, was absorbed into the Frieza Force's sprawling galactic empire. Their soldiers wear standard-issue Battle Armor and carry the equipment typical of Frieza's rank-and-file troops.

Vegeta's Visit and Paragus's Army

The Litts' most significant narrative appearance occurs during the Garlic Jr. Saga, when Vegeta, searching the galaxy for Goku following the events on Namek, attacks Planet Litt. He decimates a group of Litt soldiers who are still unaware that Frieza has been defeated. The last surviving soldier on the battlefield is bewildered, unable to understand why Frieza would order such an attack against his own loyal troops. Vegeta corrects the misunderstanding by revealing that his actions are independent of Frieza and that the tyrant is dead before interrogating the soldier for information on Goku's location.

In the film Dragon Ball Z: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, green-skinned Litts make up the majority of Paragus's personal army. Led by Angol, these soldiers serve Paragus in his scheme to lure Vegeta to New Planet Vegeta so that his son Broly can take revenge. The fact that Paragus commands an entire army of Litts suggests that the species was widely available as conscript soldiers throughout the Frieza Force's territories even after Frieza's initial defeat.

Armor Sized for the Forgotten

The Litts' most enduring contribution to Dragon Ball lore is arguably the smallest: the fact that Battle Armor originally designed for their bodies happened to fit Gohan and Krillin perfectly during the Namek Saga. This throwaway detail from Vegeta provided one of the series' rare moments of practical worldbuilding, grounding the Frieza Force's military infrastructure in the reality that not every soldier species is built on the same scale.

Planet Litt itself appears on the canonical maps of Frieza Force territory, listed alongside other conquered worlds like Planet Kanassa, Planet Meat, and Planet Vegeta. The Litts' story is the story of countless species in the Dragon Ball universe: conquered, conscripted, and forgotten, their primary legacy a set of armor that briefly outfitted two of Earth's young heroes during the battle for Namek.
