A vastly amplified version of the Kamehameha exclusive to Super Saiyan 4 Goku. As the name suggests, it carries ten times the destructive force of a standard Super Kamehameha and produces a distinctive crimson energy beam.
The 10x Kamehameha channels the raw power of Super Saiyan 4 into a concentrated energy wave. In its initial use, Goku charged two separate energy spheres and merged them before firing, though he later refined the technique to charge it like any standard Kamehameha variant. The beam itself is primarily red in color, though its very first appearance against Golden Great Ape Baby carried a bluish hue similar to the regular version.
Despite its name implying a fixed multiplier, the technique does not always fire at full strength. Goku once subconsciously held back during a battle because he was worried about Pan being nearby, resulting in a blast that measured less than five times normal output. At its peak, however, it was considered Goku's most powerful attack during the Super 17 Saga.
Goku first unleashed this technique against Golden Great Ape Baby during the climax of their fight. Though the initial blast only inflicted surface damage, it carried a delayed effect that temporarily paralyzed Baby and sent him crashing to the ground. Goku later absorbed Baby's own Revenge Death Ball Final and channeled its energy into a 10x Kamehameha, dealing catastrophic damage. The finishing blow came when Goku used it to blast Baby's escape pod directly into the sun.
Against Super 17, Goku fired the technique repeatedly, but the android's energy absorption rendered it useless. During the Shadow Dragon Saga, it served as one of Goku's primary offensive tools against the powerful dragons threatening Earth.
The 10x Kamehameha stands as the ultimate evolution of Turtle School energy wave techniques within the GT timeline. Its crimson coloring visually distinguishes it from every other Kamehameha variant, reflecting the unique nature of Super Saiyan 4's energy. The technique has appeared extensively in video games including the Budokai Tenkaichi series, Xenoverse titles, and Dragon Ball FighterZ, where it typically serves as a finisher move for GT Goku.
