A coordinated team attack performed by Androids 17 and 18 where the siblings overwhelm their target with a relentless barrage of strikes before finishing with combined energy blasts.
The Accel Dance begins with both Androids attacking a single opponent simultaneously, alternating strikes in a rapid sequence that leaves virtually no opening for counterattack. After beating the target to the ground, both Androids rise into the air and unleash their respective finishing blasts: Android 17's Dead End Bullet and Android 18's Dead End Rain. The combined energy barrage rains down on the fallen opponent for massive damage. Android 18 can also add a final diving kick to the sequence, similar to the blow she used to shatter Vegeta's arm during their first encounter.
In the alternate future timeline, the Androids used this combination to devastating effect against Future Gohan across multiple encounters. Their final use of the Accel Dance against him proved fatal, with the combined Dead End Rain and Dead End Bullet ending Gohan's life in a rainstorm. When Future Trunks returned from the main timeline after Cell's defeat, the Androids attempted the same combination, but Trunks had grown far too powerful. He dodged their coordinated assault effortlessly and destroyed both Androids in quick succession.
In the main timeline, Android 17 and 18 used a version of this technique during the Tournament of Power to eliminate Biarra from Universe 3, with 17 remarking on the futility of simply standing there and absorbing their attacks.
The Accel Dance represents one of the few true team attacks in Dragon Ball that requires two specific users working in perfect sync. It highlights the Androids' advantage as fighters who never tire and can coordinate without verbal communication. The technique appears across numerous video games including the Budokai series, Raging Blast 2, and Xenoverse 2, often as a Dual Ultimate Skill.
