Spirit Bomb Super Saiyan

Transformation

A one-time power-up achieved by absorbing the energy of a Spirit Bomb while in Super Saiyan form, combining the user's personal strength with the collected life force of innumerable beings. Goku used this technique in the final battle of Dragon Ball GT against Omega Shenron, channeling a Universal Spirit Bomb into his body to deliver the killing blow.

The Final Gambit Against Omega Shenron

During the climactic battle against Omega Shenron in Dragon Ball GT, Goku found himself completely outmatched. Even Super Saiyan 4 was insufficient to overcome the Shadow Dragon's power after he had absorbed all seven Dragon Balls. With no conventional transformation left to attempt, Goku resorted to the Spirit Bomb, reaching out to gather energy not just from Earth but from across the entire universe.

The process was lengthy and left Goku vulnerable, but the scale of the energy gathered was unlike any Spirit Bomb before it. Life force flowed in from beings across countless planets, producing a sphere of energy so vast it dwarfed anything Goku had previously created with the technique.

Absorbing the Bomb

Rather than throwing the Spirit Bomb at Omega Shenron, Goku chose to absorb its energy directly into his Super Saiyan body. This was a technique he had attempted once before during the battle with Android 13, but on a far smaller scale. The Universal Spirit Bomb's energy merged with Goku's own ki, producing a temporary state of power that vastly exceeded anything he could achieve on his own. The resulting attack was sufficient to destroy Omega Shenron completely.
