Hooguro

Slender and youthful, Hooguro keeps a blond bob cut to chin length, its fringe falling across and hiding his left eye. Makeup coats the right half of his face, and a scarf patterned like zebra stripes hangs at his neck.

An opportunistic streak runs through him; he once pressed Kanae for a larger fee after realizing how wealthy the client was. Set against that is a fierce devotion to Naki, so strong that he warned his fellow subordinate Miza he would kill her if she ever ridiculed their boss again. He stays under Naki because he wants a leader who will keep his memory alive even after he is gone.

During the Rose extermination, Kanae von Rosewald hired Hooguro among the gunmen sent against the Quinx Squad. He and Shousei split Haise Sasaki off from his teammates, but Sasaki brushed them aside with ease, and the pair bolted once the rest of the Quinx returned. Back at the Aogiri hideout, Naki briefed him and Shousei on Kanou's scheme to bring back Gagi and Guge. He joined the ambush on CCG transports after the Tsukiyama Family operation and carried off Ginshi Shirazu's body. At Rushima he fought Squad 3 alongside surviving Aogiri and White Suits members, and was among the handful who got off the island. He later stood present through the tension between Naki and Kaneki at Goat's assembly. Long after Dragon fell and Tokyo was rebuilt, Hooguro lost his heart to a human woman he met at the United Front, wed her in a traditional ghoul ceremony, and settled into a quiet life with her while still serving Naki. In battle he wields a rinkaku kagune, two slim jointed limbs that rise from his upper back and fuse into one long straight blade able to cut cleanly through his targets, earning him an A+ threat rating.
