Hajime Satsuki

Satsuki wrote scripts for four episodes of the original Dragon Ball anime series: episodes 122, 130, 139, and 142. His contributions occurred during the latter half of the series' run, contributing to the narrative structure and dialogue of the original anime adaptation as it progressed through its middle-to-later episodes.

Beyond Dragon Ball, Satsuki worked as a screenwriter across multiple anime projects. He wrote scripts for Azumanga Daioh: The Animation, handling 19 episodes of that comedy series. Under the pen name Gogo Matsuki (五月ごご), he also contributed script work to Mahou no Angel Sweet Mint. Satsuki represents the foundational writing staff that brought anime adaptations to life during the 1980s and early 1990s.
