Yoshikage Kira Just Wants to Live Quietly, Part 2

Exposed by Shigechi, Kira looses Killer Queen to silence him, but Shigechi answers with Harvest. Deducing from the school that Josuke and Okuyasu are also Stand users, Kira reveals a 100 yen coin, and when Harvest seizes it, he demonstrates Killer Queen's power to turn any object it touches into a bomb. The blast maims Shigechi without killing him. Using Harvest as a distraction, the wounded boy staggers toward the high school section to warn Josuke and Okuyasu, only for Kira to detonate a bomb he had planted on the classroom doorknob, causing Shigechi to burst from within and vanish without a trace.

Hearing the cries, Josuke receives a jacket button from Harvest's last unit before it disintegrates. He and Okuyasu note the abnormal way Harvest disappeared and find only Shigechi's belongings left on his desk. Reimi, watching from the afterlife, sees Shigechi's ghost dissolve in agony and knows at once that Kira is responsible. Josuke assembles a large gathering of Morioh's Stand users to meet Reimi and learn about the killer, and Jotaro decides to trace him through the recovered button.

Four fruitless days later, Koichi joins Jotaro in searching for a tailor who might have handled a jacket with matching buttons. At a shoe store that also does tailoring, the owner recognizes the button and identifies a recently repaired purple jacket. As he checks the tag for the owner's name, his hand is suddenly blown off. Kira, hidden in the back, had planted a second bomb, a small tank-like device that rushes into the owner's mouth. Kira shakes the jacket to lure Jotaro and Koichi close, and when Koichi lunges for the coat, Jotaro pulls him clear as the bomb detonates.

Yoshikage Kira kills Shigekiyo Yangu using Killer Queen's bomb ability, first maiming him and then detonating a trap on a doorknob that erases the boy entirely. Shigechi's dying delivery of a jacket button becomes the crucial clue. Reimi confirms Kira as the culprit, prompting Josuke to unite Morioh's Stand users. Jotaro leads the hunt through the button and reaches a tailoring shoe store, where Kira springs his second bomb and introduces the automatic Stand Sheer Heart Attack.

The twenty-second Diamond is Unbreakable episode, and the ninety-sixth overall, adapts the back half of Chapter 345 through Chapter 347 plus Chapter 354 into early Chapter 355. Because the anime places the Cinderella arc before the Kira chapters, Aya Tsuji is included among the gathered Stand users. The adaptation keeps Kira's neck wound from Harvest visible through the arc. In his commentary, Naokatsu Tsuda praised series director Toshiyuki Kato's storyboard for Shigechi's heartbreaking death and noted Killer Queen's explosions were given distinct coloring and black smoke.
