As Sukuna and Jogo trade blows, the destruction bleeds outward across Shibuya and snares the Kusakabe team. Jogo finally fires his ultimate attack, and Sukuna responds with a power nobody anticipated.
What began as a private duel now engulfs a sweeping stretch of Shibuya, pulling Kusakabe's group and the curse users into harm's way. Jogo commits to his greatest attack, only for the King of Curses to unveil something none of them expected.
Swatting Jogo through the sky, Sukuna taunts him over whether he has more to give, and the spirit insists he does. The moment Jogo cups flame between his hands, his arms are cleaved off by Sukuna's innate slashing, then his skull is caved in by a brutal fist. A swift dive drives Jogo's face into a tower's summit, and the two plummet through floor after floor. Beneath moonlight pouring through the wrecked ceiling, the King of Curses mocks how pathetic his foe looks. Battling to regenerate a shattered jaw, Jogo replays Kenjaku's words. Eight or nine fingers consumed, he had been told, would lift his power level up beside Sukuna's own. Even so, he never pictured a chasm this wide. Sukuna materializes at his back, lifts him by the collar, and orders him to keep entertaining him while fire roars from the broken structure.
Spilling into the open, Jogo retaliates with Maximum: Meteor. Spotting the threat, Kusakabe fells Negi and Suda's underlings using his Batto Sword Drawing of the New Shadow Style, then warns the others off, comparing the special grades to elephants stomping around ants. In a blink Sukuna is beside him, decreeing that no human may flee on pain of death, pinning every sorcerer in place to watch the Meteor descend before clapping cheerfully to free them. The strike levels everything when it touches down. Drained, Jogo perches atop the crater and crows that surely the blast wounded his rival, yet Sukuna sits beside him untouched, because the attack missed entirely. Pressed on why he refuses Domain Expansion, Jogo concedes he would lose any clash, which Sukuna links to the spirit's prior loss against Gojo. Delighted, Sukuna resolves to borrow Jogo's own craft, opening a concealed function so he too may wield flame, and warns the bewildered curse to ready himself for a contest of fire.
Set during the Shibuya Incident arc, this installment carries the Sukuna versus Jogo fight across the ruins near Shibuya Stream and just beyond Shibuya Station. On display are Kusakabe's Batto Sword Drawing, Jogo's Disaster Flames leading into Maximum: Meteor, and Sukuna's Shrine technique with its Divine Flame. Episode 40 of the anime covers these events.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
