The Emperor Rolls Over - The Great Brook Rescue Mission!

Bobbin shakes off Sanji's earlier kick and, unwilling to share the kill, lulls his concerned crewmates to sleep before chasing the cook alone. Meanwhile the team spots an enormous mirror and realizes it opens directly into Big Mom's room, where Brook dangles in the grip of the slumbering Emperor. Their plan: replace him with a dummy skeleton dressed in a seaweed afro without waking her.

Chopper, then Carrot, then Pedro each creep in and each fails, undone by sneezes, snot bubbles, stray pebbles, and Big Mom's restless turning, which is guarded by the ever-watchful homies Zeus, Prometheus, and Napoleon. When Big Mom finally rolls and drops Brook, Nami dashes to him, but his scream at seeing the dummy wakes the Emperor. Jinbe snatches Nami and Brook clear just as a hurled Prometheus erupts behind them. Out in Sweet City, Sanji presses on while Luffy, drained by hunger, is beaten down and stomped into the dirt by Counter.

Bobbin knocks out his own crewmates to pursue Sanji solo. The Sanji Retrieval Team discovers the mirror leading into Big Mom's bedroom and stages a four-attempt rescue, binding and gagging Brulee and Diesel when they try to alert her. Chopper, Carrot, and Pedro each abort their run, and Nami ultimately frees Brook after Big Mom drops him, with Jinbe extracting them before Prometheus detonates. The mission succeeds. Luffy reaches the outskirts only to be ambushed and overpowered by Charlotte Counter. The episode debuts Big Mom's Heavenly Feuer technique.

The adaptation stretches every rescue attempt, adding Chopper's near-trip and stifled sneeze, Carrot's stuffed-bunny impression to fool Zeus, and Pedro daydreaming a flawless extraction while Big Mom winds up a punch. The anime also has Diesel join Brulee in trying to wake the Emperor, spares Jinbe the scorch marks the manga gave him, and labels Nami's run as a fourth challenge. Luffy's ambush by Counter as he nears the rendezvous is original to the episode, which sits within the Whole Cake Island arc.
