Appearance

Satori cuts a rotund figure with pale skin and a mane of long, dark red hair. He dresses in a white head-to-toe jumpsuit lined by a vertical row of golden rings circling from front to back, topped with an orange wide-brimmed hat in the Capello Romano style. Orange gloves and footwear, plus oversized yellow shades that hide his eyes entirely, round out the look, and he wields a big striped cane to steer his Ball Dragon. Small white wings sprout from his back, a trait of his Birkan kind. Eight years prior his outfit matched, save that the jumpsuit's rings hung separately rather than linked.

Personality

Forever grinning, Satori comes across as goofy and lighthearted, bouncing and skipping his way through encounters. He kept up this prancing even while staking the lives of Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji against his lethal traps, leaving it unclear whether his glee springs from childlike cluelessness or cold cruelty. The moment his schemes unravel, that cheer collapses into panic, as happened once Luffy and Sanji slipped past his snares and brought him down. He and his brothers share a signature laugh, a ringing Ho ho ho.

Abilities

Satori oversaw the Ordeal of Balls, a trial with only a ten percent survival rate. His weapon of choice is a swarm of floating ball clouds he dubs Surprise Clouds, each holding contents that range from harmless flowers and songbirds to venomous snakes, explosives, and blades. Because the spheres look identical, opponents can never tell which is which and must dodge them all. With Bikkuri Tamatsuki he banks one cloud off another like a billiards shot, plotting the ricochet to strike a distant target or feint toward one foe while aiming at another. His finishing move, the Tama Dragon, strings many incendiary, gunpowder, and blade-packed clouds into a serpent crowned with a dragon mask, which he guides by a rope tied to his cane; striking it risks a chain blast that hurls the blades as shrapnel.

He also wields Observation Haki, called Mantra in Skypiea, sensing presences across all of Upper Yard and reading an attacker's intent in advance. He concedes he needs further training, since shocks can break his focus, and the power is worthless if he is pinned and unable to dodge. Beneath his gloves sit a pair of Impact Dials that soak up an opponent's blows and fire them back as shockwaves, and he seems to keep several pre-charged ones on hand.
