The Steam Whistle Separates the Crew! The Sea Train Begins to Run

Paulie helps lift suspicion off the Straw Hats, though he holds back part of what he knows from the angry townsfolk. He convinces the crowd to follow Chopper in the hunt for the missing pirates. Nami splits off to sprint for the Sea Train on her own. As she nears the platform, Sanji has already pulled ahead of her and is closing in on the train itself. The chapter of events builds toward the painful moment when the locomotive finally departs.

At the station, Corgi has Robin escorted aboard as CP9 arrives, with Blueno hauling a struggling Franky and Usopp. Hidden nearby, Sanji watches and resolves to follow. Back at Galley-La, Chopper learns from Nami that Robin never hated them and startles the crowd by transforming. Iceburg warns that the train leaves at eleven, that Aqua Laguna will cancel every later run, and that as mayor he holds no authority over a government-run line. Paulie persuades the people to lend Yagara Bulls and guide Nami to the station.

Nami and Paulie ride hard for the platform while Chopper leads the search for Luffy and Zoro, both still trapped in walls and chimneys. Franky and Usopp are beaten by the guards aboard the train. As the whistle blows, Robin recalls how Luffy once welcomed her into the crew. Sanji reaches the cars and Nami arrives only to watch the Sea Train vanish, crying out for Robin. The anime expands Sanji's daydream of rescuing her, hinting at his identity. It belongs to the Water 7 storyline.
