This Dressrosa Arc installment debuts techniques for Cavendish, Orlumbus, Gladius, and Robin. The adaptation inserts Bartolomeo's daydream of greeting the captain amid the sunflowers, then has the captain answer the toys with Gomu Gomu no UFO, and grants Baby 5 her anime-only Disc-Girl move. It lengthens young Viola's flashback together with the Sai-versus-Baby 5 and Chinjao-versus-Lao G clashes. Farul's bitten head comes later than in print, several long-nosed men face Sugar rather than one, and Orlumbus's command ability surfaces earlier than the manga showed.
