Summary

The rescue party reels when a mysterious woman turns up on the Sunny, and when she calls Yonji her younger sibling, it becomes clear she is Sanji's older sister too. Yonji bursts from the water and hangs in midair, sneering at Reiju. The crew puzzles over how he floats, but Nami dismisses a Devil Fruit since water would have crippled him. Pekoms explains that Yonji owes his powers to science as a Vinsmoke, one of the Germa 66 leaders whose advanced technology Big Mom has long coveted. Brook knows the Vinsmoke name and recalls that this clan once governed all of North Blue, which Reiju confirms while adding they still hold royal rank and may attend the Levely even without territory.

Turning to the poisoned Luffy, Reiju guesses he swallowed an armored stonefish, a Hot-Hot Sea creature whose venom would normally fell even a giant on the spot. Calling it her favorite dish, she presses her lips to his and draws every trace of poison into herself and takes no harm, being the Poison Pink. Soon Luffy revives, embraced tearfully by Chopper and Carrot, and remembers nothing, even asking for more of the fish before Nami furiously sets him straight.

Key Events

Mistaking Reiju's curled brow for Sanji's, Luffy is corrected, and it dawns on him that this woman is Sanji's sibling. She thanks him for looking after Sanji and recounts how their father, Judge, hunted for him after he first earned a bounty, only for the crude wanted sketch to send hunters after Duval by mistake until a real photo updated the poster and the order became Only Alive. When Luffy vows to rescue Sanji, tension rises, and Reiju leaps back to Yonji's ship; the two part ways, agreeing to stay silent so the wedding proceeds, while Aladine watches from below and reports to Jinbe. Pekoms reveals that thirty-four islands ringing Whole Cake Island, each governed by a minister, form Big Mom's realm of Totto Land. The team docks at a chocolate island, where Luffy and Chopper rush ahead into a town made entirely of chocolate.

Notes

This episode belongs to the Whole Cake Island Arc. The anime inserts extra material: the crew debating whether Yonji's floating is a Devil Fruit, Chopper marveling at Germa technology, Chopper examining Luffy after Reiju and Yonji depart, and an encounter with a tarte before Cacao Island during which the team hides in the cabin. The order of Reiju's thanks and her account of Judge's search is reversed from the manga, as is the timing of Pekoms explaining Totto Land. Cacao Island's town also looks more distant from the shoreline here than the manga depicted.
