The Strongest Man - Shutenmaru, the Bandits Brigade Chief!

As Kin'emon outlines the Onigashima operation, Sanji notes that one target ally, Ashura Doji, was once Oden's foe. Kin'emon clarifies that Ashura reformed to serve the Kouzuki Family before sliding back into crime under the name Shutenmaru, and counts him among the strongest fighters worth recruiting. In Okobore Town, Shutenmaru is busy robbing the very people Luffy had just fed when Jack of the Beasts Pirates appears and challenges him, only to be critically cut in the clash. At Onigashima, a furious, drunken Kaidou rants about Luffy, batters his own crew, then transforms into a colossal azure dragon and flies toward Kuri. Storm clouds gather over Okobore Town, and the horrified citizens, along with Jack, Shutenmaru, and the hidden Straw Hats, realize the Emperor has come in person. Kaidou orders Jack to lead him to Luffy.

Kin'emon reveals that Shutenmaru is the former Kouzuki servant Ashura Doji, once Oden's enemy and now a desired ally. Shutenmaru robs Okobore Town and duels Jack, leaving him with grave wounds. Kaidou, drunk and enraged over Luffy, uses the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu to become a dragon and flies to Kuri. His arrival is recognized with dread across the town, and he commands Jack to bring him to Luffy.

This installment debuts Home and Chocho along with the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, and runs under OVER THE TOP. Added scenes show Usopp passing Kin'emon's secret message to a Kouzuki supporter, then meeting Robin and Franky about Shutenmaru, plus Luffy's group paying respects at the Kouzuki graves while Shinobu flirts with Sanji. The adaptation establishes that Kin'emon and Kiku already knew Ashura was Shutenmaru, extends the Shutenmaru-Jack fight so Jack takes several wounds, and places Luffy's group outside Oden Castle rather than inside when Kaidou reaches Kuri.
