Summary

The moment Sugar drops unconscious, the dwarves are awestruck and Trebol reels in shock. Across every district the toys snap back into their original bodies, and as they do, the people who had loved them suddenly remember the relations stolen from their minds. By Den Den Mushi, Trebol breaks the news to Doflamingo that the Hobi Hobi power has failed, and the warlord, gripped by alarm, asks whether the report is some kind of joke. Out among the crowds, terror and reunion mingle: some embrace family they had lost, while others scatter from beasts and pirates that were playthings moments before, and the rest prove to be ex-soldiers, officials, Marines, and even leaders of distant nations.

Key Events

Thunder Soldier, his true form returned, breaks away from the side of Luffy and Viola and sprints toward the suit room. Viola, weeping as her memory floods back, names the man for a baffled Luffy: the former champion of the Colosseum and commander of King Riku's army, and she stuns him further by revealing the figure is Rebecca's father. Inside the suit room, Riku also recovers his recollection of his old comrade. Kyros bursts in, begs his king's pardon for the long wait, and severs Doflamingo's head in one stroke, horrifying Buffalo and Baby 5. Luffy and Viola arrive moments later, and Kyros announces he has come to win back the real Dressrosa.

Notes

Every toy on Dressrosa reverts; the freed population turns out to include Riku's former troops, royals of other lands, World Government officials, Marines, pirates, ordinary folk, and wild animals, and the flood of returned memories throws the island into turmoil. Pica disappears in the middle of his duel with Zoro. Kyros decapitates Doflamingo. Fighting as Lucy, Sabo levels the Corrida Colosseum floor with a fresh technique, Ryusoken: Ryu no Ibuki, and Koala radios Hack that he is heading for the basement.
