Yoshito Watanabe

Watanabe provided background art for Dragon Ball Z episodes 100, 103, and 136, contributing to the visual foundation during the intense saga of the Androids and Cell. He also worked as background artist and art designer on Dragon Ball The Path to Power, bringing architectural and environmental detail to the theatrical release. His background art work established the look of critical late-series episodes.

Watanabe served as art director for numerous major anime including Digimon Adventure, Digimon Tamers, Sword Art Online Alicization, and multiple Precure films. His work spans background design, art supervision, and art direction across diverse studios including Toei Animation, Studio Pierrot, and KLAS. He has been instrumental in visual design for some of anime's most acclaimed series.
