Chris Forbis

Forbis was heavily involved in writing scripts for the Funimation dub of the Dragon Ball series while simultaneously voicing numerous characters. In Dragon Ball, he provided voices for Dr. Brief, Captain Dark, and the Pirate Robot. Moving into Dragon Ball Z, he voiced Dodoria and the unnamed farmer who first encounters Raditz. He also played Kami in the episodes "Piccolo's Return" and "The Fusion," though Christopher Sabat later replaced him in these roles for remastered box set releases.

Forbis's work as a script writer was instrumental to shaping the tone and dialogue of the Dragon Ball dub that defined the franchise for English audiences. His dual expertise in both voice performance and script adaptation allowed him to contribute meaningfully to how the series was presented, making him an unsung architect of the English Dragon Ball experience.
