Cabba

Cabba comes from a reality where the Saiyans never destroyed their original homeworld, Sadala, and instead developed into a disciplined military force that defended their planet and its neighbors. In Universe 6, Saiyans lack tails and have never experienced the Great Ape transformation, resulting in a culture built around conventional martial prowess rather than primal power. Cabba serves in the Sadala Defense Forces under the mentorship of Captain Renso, and his demeanor could not be more different from the arrogant Saiyans of Universe 7. He is polite, respectful, and humble, traits that initially surprised Vegeta when the two met during the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 tournament organized by Champa and Beerus.

Vegeta's Student

Cabba's encounter with Vegeta during the tournament became the defining relationship of his character. Vegeta, recognizing a kindred Saiyan spirit beneath Cabba's gentleness, deliberately provoked him during their match by threatening to destroy Planet Sadala. The tactic worked; Cabba's rage at the thought of his home being annihilated unlocked the Super Saiyan transformation. After the battle, Vegeta revealed the bluff and told Cabba to visit Sadala in Universe 7's reality, establishing himself as a mentor to the younger Saiyan. This bond carried into the Tournament of Power, where Cabba fought under Vegeta's implicit guidance as part of the rival Universe 6 team.

In the Tournament of Power, Cabba served as a recruiter for Team Universe 6, bringing Caulifla and Kale into the fold. During the tournament itself, he demonstrated his Super Saiyan 2 transformation and fought valiantly, though he was ultimately eliminated by Frieza, who toyed with him cruelly before knocking him from the arena. Cabba's elimination was a painful moment, as the young Saiyan was forced to watch his universe edge closer to erasure. His promise to Vegeta, that they would meet again, carried emotional weight because of the genuine teacher-student bond they had formed across universal boundaries. Cabba's character represents the bridge between Universe 6 and Universe 7's Saiyan legacies, and his existence confirms that the Saiyan race's capacity for good was always present, simply unrealized in Universe 7 due to the corrupting influence of the Frieza Force.
