Role and Significance

Chronoa originates from the Dragon Ball Xenoverse video game series and the Super Dragon Ball Heroes franchise, where she serves as the player's primary guide and mission coordinator. As Supreme Kai of Time, her authority over temporal matters is absolute. She can detect changes to the timeline, seal away dangerous time-altering artifacts, and dispatch warriors to correct historical anomalies.

Despite her immense divine authority, Chronoa is portrayed with a playful, sometimes temperamental personality that contrasts with the gravity of her responsibilities. She is a notoriously terrible cook, a running gag throughout the Xenoverse games. Her relationship with Tokitoki, the divine bird whose eggs can create entire timelines, underscores her importance to the Dragon Ball cosmology. While she is not a canon character in the main manga or anime continuity, Chronoa has become one of the most recognizable figures in Dragon Ball's expanded media, appearing prominently in Heroes and serving as a connective thread across multiple game storylines.
