Biography and Story Role

Piano is a Mutated Namekian spawned by King Piccolo shortly after his release from the Electric Rice Cooker by Pilaf. Unlike his more combat-oriented siblings, Piano resembles a small pterodactyl and functions primarily as an advisor and attendant to his father rather than a warrior.

Among King Piccolo's sons, Piano is the longest surviving, outliving Tambourine, Cymbal, and the others who were sent on missions and destroyed. He remains at his father's side throughout the King Piccolo Saga, providing counsel and relaying information. He witnesses King Piccolo's apparent defeat of young Goku and his father's successful bid to take over the world.

Piano meets his end during the final confrontation between King Piccolo and Goku at the King's Castle. When Goku arrives for the rematch, he is crushed when King Piccolo is knocked into him by Goku's attack. He was born on May 6, Age 753, and died just three days later on May 9.
