Biography and Story Role

Pybara became acquainted with Goku after the Saiyan and Vegeta defeated the Ginyu Force, who had been planning to terrorize Planet Yardrat. Recognizing Goku's potential, Pybara taught him Instant Transmission, the signature teleportation technique of the Yardrat people. Goku would carry this skill with him for the remainder of the series.

Years later, during the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Vegeta traveled to Yardrat seeking new power to combat Moro. Pybara took on the role of Vegeta's instructor, teaching him Spirit Control. This discipline allowed Vegeta to manipulate his ki at a fundamental level, culminating in the ability known as Forced Spirit Fission. Through this technique, Vegeta could separate energy that had been absorbed or fused, which proved essential in the battle against Moro.

Despite his small true stature, Pybara typically appears much larger than other Yardrats due to his use of Gigantification, a Spirit Control application. He is wise, perceptive, and good-natured, often using his abilities to play harmless jokes on visitors.
