Neva's True Colors

Just before the group departs Namek, Panzy spots an elderly Namekian approaching. Neva, the same legendary figure who helped Gomah on Earth, initially plays senile to avoid suspicion. Piccolo sees through the act immediately, recognizing the creator of the Demon Realm Dragon Balls and the Tamagami. When confronted about his role in Dende's kidnapping, Neva claims he was only following Gomah's orders and insists Dende will not be harmed because the Demon King values him too highly.

Goku explains their plan to gather all three Dragon Balls, and Neva makes a crucial request: take him along. The wish to reverse the transformation must be spoken in the Namekian language, and no one in the group, not even Piccolo who grew up on Earth, can speak it. With no alternative, the group agrees to let the old Namekian join. Neva also reveals that he created the Dragon Balls as rewards for his people, but bad actors eventually forced him to create the Tamagami as guardians.

Vegeta Takes the Stage

Vegeta claims the right to fight Tamagami Number Two, leaving Goku to protest from the sidelines. The trident-wielding guardian dismisses Vegeta because of his childlike size, but one look at Neva standing nearby convinces him the challenge is legitimate. The two clash intensely, with Vegeta holding his ground in base form but taking a nasty cut across his cheek. A devastating Sword Blast sends Vegeta plunging into the ocean, where a lurking Kraken tries to inhale him before the Tamagami swats him back into the creature's open mouth.

Arinsu Doubles Down

Following Majin Kuu's embarrassing failure, Dr. Arinsu returns to Marba with the remaining essence of Innocent Buu and one final Saibamen seed. This time the seed is planted deeper into the compound, a riskier procedure that yields a far stronger result. The newborn Majin Duu immediately demands chocolate, establishing a personality that is equal parts gluttonous and unpredictable. Arinsu sends him to challenge Tamagami Number One, and the battle quickly proves that Duu is on an entirely different level from his predecessor.
