A Barrier Undone

Panzy contacts Peral at Kadan Castle to update him on their progress. Peral explains that King Kadan has gone to steal a Demon Realm Plane so he can travel to the First Demon World personally, but Panzy assures him there is no need. The group she is traveling with has more than enough strength for the journey ahead.

When they arrive at the Sir Warp, the team discovers it has been shut down entirely. Neva quickly deduces that Gomah must have issued the order. With no other option available, he recites an incantation that removes the magical barrier surrounding the Demon Realm Tunnel. Piccolo, impressed by the display, asks whether Neva was the one who originally cast the barrier. He confirms it, explaining that the Second Demon World was once overrun by troublemakers from the Third Demon World and arrogant visitors from the First. That chaos was one of the key reasons the Namekians eventually left the Demon Realm for the outside world.

The Gendarmerie Arrives

On the First Demon World, Gomah meets with the Gendarmerie Force, a small unit of elite but wildly eccentric demons. After an over-the-top group introduction that draws comparisons to the legendary Ginyu Force, Gomah informs them that enemies are likely approaching from the Second Demon World. Their job is to serve as a defensive front line at the palace gates.

Snacks and Shortfalls

After Gomah leaves, one of the Gendarmerie members, Gaimoi, develops a craving for potato chips and convinces the group to visit a nearby convenience store. Inside, they encounter Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, who are shopping for snacks themselves. Seeing that the Majin pair have only picked out a single chocolate bar each, the Gendarmerie members take pity and load up a basket full of treats for them.

Their generosity is short-lived. At the register, the total comes to 10,000 Dokuro, far more than they have on hand. Embarrassed, they end up purchasing only the two original chocolate bars. The Gendarmerie then head outside to take up their guard positions at the castle entrance.

Crash Landing

Now traveling through the Demon Realm Tunnel, Glorio loses control of the plane. The group abandons the vehicle moments before it crashes into the ground below. Two Gendarmerie members spot the wreckage, then notice the group of outsiders falling from the sky. They immediately contact Degesu, who relays the news to Gomah.

Gomah orders an immediate attack. Before Goku and his companions even touch down, the Gendarmerie Force is already rushing toward them, ensuring that their arrival in the First Demon World begins with a fight.
