Gomah orders a full assault on the newly arrived heroes. Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo battle waves of Gendarmerie soldiers across the First Demon World while the dark history of the Evil Third Eye is revealed. Hybis unknowingly trades the artifact away, and King Kadan arrives with reinforcements just in time to turn the tide.
The moment Goku's group touches down in the First Demon World, Gomah orders an all-out assault. Gendarmerie militia swarm them from every direction, attacking both on foot and from piloted aircraft. The party takes cover behind rock formations and fights back as best they can while surrounded on all sides.
Goku is struck and briefly incapacitated before using his Power Pole to take down an enemy plane. The soldiers keep coming regardless. Vegeta carves through several attackers until he too is knocked down. Goku rushes to his side and uses one of his remaining Medi Bugs to heal him, which Vegeta reluctantly eats. With both Saiyans back at full strength, they join Piccolo, Panzy, and Glorio in a coordinated counterattack that forces the Gendarmerie into a temporary retreat.
Meanwhile at the Demon King's Palace, Gomah and Degesu monitor the battlefield and notice that Hybis is carrying the Evil Third Eye embedded in his belt buckle. Gomah orders Degesu to find a way to retrieve it.
The Evil Third Eye was once worn on the foreheads of former Supreme Demon Kings, granting them tremendous magical power and unchallenged authority. During the reign of Abura, the eye was lost. In secret, his son Dabura hired a thief to steal it from behind the palace throne and transport it to the Third Demon World. The thief succeeded in the heist but was struck down by a ruffian upon arrival, and the eye vanished into obscurity. Without the artifact, Abura eventually fell to Dabura, who seized the throne and became the new Supreme Demon King. Gomah was appointed Vice Supreme Demon King shortly after.
Years later, while hunting in the wilds, Hybis stumbled upon the eye and, finding it attractive, tucked it into his belt buckle with no idea of what it actually was.
As the group pushes through the Oparu district toward the palace, another wave of soldiers intercepts them. During the chaos, a beautiful demon woman wearing a large hat approaches Hybis and offers him a kiss in exchange for the eye. He declines the kiss and asks for her hat instead. Insulted but compliant, she hands over the hat and takes the eye.
Gendarmerie tanks roll in and begin causing serious problems for the heroes until King Kadan and his forces arrive by air, dropping bombs on the armored vehicles. Working together, the combined group eliminates the remaining Gendarmerie soldiers. Goku and Kadan share a grateful smile as the dust settles.
