Grounded by Doubt

With one year to recover the Black Star Dragon Balls before Earth is destroyed, Bulma leads the effort to construct a spaceship at Capsule Corporation. Gohan volunteers to accompany Goku, but Vegeta overrides him, drafting Trunks and Goten instead. He believes the two young Saiyans have grown too comfortable during peacetime.

Pan, eager to prove herself, tries to help with the preparations but is turned away at every opportunity. The adults see her as too young for a dangerous space voyage, and the repeated rejection stings deeply.

A Stowaway's Resolve

On the day of departure, Goten is distracted by a phone call from his girlfriend just as the crew prepares to board. Pan seizes the moment. Having already snuck aboard, she hides inside the ship while Goku and Trunks climb in. When Goku and Trunks discover her, Pan immediately fires the engines.

The ship launches into the sky with Pan, Goku, and Trunks on board, leaving a bewildered Goten waving from the ground. He is relieved rather than upset, happy to stay behind with his girlfriend.

Into the Unknown

As the Grand Tour Spaceship climbs out of Earth's atmosphere, a small circuit piece falls from the hull and lands at Bulma's feet. She stares at it in horror, wondering what part of the ship it belonged to. The journey has barely begun and things are already going wrong.

Pan has forced her way onto the mission through sheer determination, but the road ahead is uncharted. Three Saiyans now hurtle through space in a ship that may already be compromised, carrying the weight of Earth's survival on their shoulders.
