On the oversized planet Monmaasu, the team tracks their first Black Star Dragon Ball only to watch it get swallowed by a giant along with an apple. Goku must venture inside the giant's mouth and blast the ball free from a rotten tooth using a Kamehameha.
Leaving Imecka behind, the crew lands on Monmaasu, a bizarre planet where everything is scaled up a hundredfold. Trees tower like mountains, insects are the size of vehicles, and the simplest objects become obstacles. Pan discovers a bee-patterned outfit and puts it on, while Goku finds an enormous apple tree and immediately starts eating.
Trunks and the robot companion, whom the team has started calling Giru, detect the Four-Star Black Star Dragon Ball nearby. Their excitement is short-lived. Before they can grab it, the ball gets stuck to a massive apple, which a hawk snatches and delivers to a colossal giant.
Pan's new outfit causes an unexpected problem. A swarm of giant bees mistakes her for their queen and drags her into the hive. She escapes in a panic, pursued by the angry swarm across the landscape until she collides with Goku and Trunks, who have just rescued the real Queen Bee from a massive spider.
The group narrowly escapes the swarm by taking to the air. Between oversized predators, confused insects, and a missing Dragon Ball lodged inside a giant's lunch, Monmaasu is proving to be one of the strangest stops on their journey.
A hungry Goku catches the scent of cooking fish and leads the group to its source, where they spot the giant. He has already eaten the apple, and the Dragon Ball is now wedged painfully in one of his teeth. The giant writhes in agony, clutching his jaw.
Goku sees an opening. He enters the giant's mouth, navigates past rows of massive teeth, and fires a Kamehameha that knocks the infected tooth clean out along with the Four-Star Black Star Dragon Ball. The team secures their very first recovered sphere, and with one down and six to go, they blast off into space to continue the search.
