The Power of Sisterhood

As Kale transforms into her Legendary Super Saiyan form, the surge of energy is powerful enough to make Jiren flinch during his meditation and distract both Vegeta and Top from their ongoing battle. Caulifla approaches Kale and extends her hand, telling her she has finally made that power her own. Kale grips it so forcefully that the arena beneath them cracks, but when Caulifla affirms their bond as true friends, Kale gains complete control over the berserk form, slimming down while retaining its full power.

The two Universe 6 Saiyans attack Goku as a coordinated team. Caulifla creates smokescreens while Kale uses her brute force to pin Goku down. Frieza watches with interest from the sidelines, impressed enough to consider fighting them himself, but Goku insists on continuing the match. When Goku transforms into Super Saiyan God, the power gap widens significantly. He repels both fighters with simultaneous energy blasts, and his God Shot technique forces them into a defensive position they cannot maintain.

Recognizing she cannot win on her own, Caulifla tells Kale to bring out "that thing" Champa gave them before the tournament. As Goku fires a Kamehameha that shatters the ground around them, the two Saiyans don Potara earrings and are enveloped in a blinding light. Kefla emerges from the fusion, landing back on the crumbling ring with a confidence that matches her overwhelming power. Even Goku admits he cannot sense a limit to her energy. Kefla attacks with speed that Goku cannot follow, easily overpowering his Super Saiyan God form.

Escalation Through Desperation

The Potara fusion is driven by necessity rather than strategy. Caulifla and Kale are losing, and fusion is their only path forward. Champa's decision to provide the earrings beforehand shows calculated foresight, holding a trump card for exactly this situation.

Kale's character arc reaches a satisfying milestone. Her transformation from someone who lost control of her power into a fighter who channels it deliberately, stabilized by Caulifla's friendship, provides genuine emotional resonance. Goku's admission that his body "cannot stop shaking" is a rare moment of unease from a fighter who typically relishes every challenge.

A New Contender Enters

With 21 minutes on the clock, Kefla's arrival reshapes the battlefield. Her power in base form already exceeds Super Saiyan God Goku, and the fusion has not yet transformed. The episode sets up a conflict that will require Goku to reach beyond conventional power-ups.

In the background, Gohan and Piccolo continue against the Universe 6 Namekians, and Android 17 protects his sister from Catopesra. These secondary battles ensure the broader conflict remains active even as Kefla dominates the spotlight.
