Meet Vegito

EpisodeEp. 269

The fused warrior Vegito makes his spectacular debut against Super Buu. Even without transforming, Vegito effortlessly outclasses the absorbed villain, shrugging off attacks that would have killed Goku or Vegeta individually. After kicking a planet-destroying energy ball into space like a toy, Vegito ascends to Super Saiyan and announces his full power.

Born from Fusion

The light of the Potara fusion fades, and a warrior unlike any before stands on the battlefield. He has no name yet, only an overwhelming confidence that radiates from every gesture. Super Buu attacks immediately, but his strikes might as well be aimed at a ghost. The fused fighter weaves through Buu's assault with casual grace, landing blows that send the villain reeling.

Watching from the Sacred World of the Kai, Old Kai and Kibito Kai are stunned. Even in his base form, this new warrior's power dwarfs Super Buu's. The fusion has not simply added Goku's strength to Vegeta's; it has multiplied them into something far greater than either could have achieved alone. The warrior settles on a name: Vegito.

Searching for the Fallen

Meanwhile, in Heaven, a search party of unlikely allies scours the afterlife for Gohan. Videl, Chi-Chi, Bulma, and a reformed Dabura wander through the endless expanse of paradise, calling Gohan's name. Chi-Chi grows increasingly upset at finding no trace of her son, but Videl holds firm to her conviction that Gohan is not dead. She believes he remains somewhere on Earth, still fighting.

Dabura, whose heart changed completely upon entering Heaven, encourages Videl's faith and praises the bond between her and Gohan. The scene provides a rare moment of warmth amid the chaos, a reminder of what the warriors on Earth are fighting to protect.

A Saiyan Ascends

Back on the battlefield, Super Buu conjures his Destructive Grenade, a sphere of energy large enough to annihilate the planet. Dende sets Mr. Satan down and braces for the worst. Vegito does not flinch. He stands directly beneath the massive orb, catches it, and boots it into outer space with the ease of a child kicking a ball.

Buu insists he still holds the advantage, but his bravado collapses when Vegito flashes a smirk and transforms. Golden energy erupts around him as he ascends to Super Saiyan, declaring his new title: Super Vegito. Episode 269 establishes the Potara fusion as the most powerful technique in the Dragon Ball universe, setting the stage for a confrontation where Buu's survival depends on cunning rather than strength.
