Vegeta forms a reluctant alliance with Gohan and Krillin after sensing the approaching Ginyu Force. Grand Elder Guru awakens Gohan's dormant power, and the Ginyu Force touches down on Namek, ready to claim the Dragon Balls for Frieza.
Vegeta senses Krillin and Gohan increasing their speed and gives chase, eventually tracking them to Grand Elder Guru's tower. He arrives expecting a confrontation but finds himself facing Nail, the Grand Elder's powerful guardian. Inside, Guru places his hands on Gohan and unlocks the boy's hidden potential, causing his power level to surge dramatically. The awakening transforms Gohan from a talented young fighter into a genuine threat on the Namekian battlefield.
When Dende exits the tower, he delivers grim news: something enormously powerful is heading toward Namek. Vegeta immediately recognizes the signatures. It is the Ginyu Force, Frieza's elite mercenary squadron. Knowing he cannot face them alone, Vegeta proposes a temporary truce with the Earthlings. They will combine their Dragon Balls and fight together against the common threat.
The alliance is born of pure desperation. Vegeta despises the Earthlings, and they have every reason to distrust the man who invaded their planet and killed their friends. But the Ginyu Force leaves no room for old grudges. If they do not stand together, they will all fall separately, and the Dragon Balls will end up in Frieza's hands regardless.
Five space pods streak through Namek's atmosphere and touch down in front of Frieza's spaceship. The Ginyu Force has arrived: Captain Ginyu, Recoome, Burter, Jeice, and Guldo. Each is a seasoned warrior with unique abilities, and together they represent the most dangerous fighting unit in Frieza's empire. They waste no time reporting to their lord, who is eager to regain control of the Dragon Ball situation.
Their dramatic entrance, complete with choreographed poses and theatrical introductions, belies the genuine menace they represent. Behind the showmanship are five killers who have never failed an assignment for Frieza. Their presence on Namek signals that the tyrant is done playing games.
Before leaving Guru's tower, Nail reveals a critical detail: the Namekian Dragon Balls can grant three wishes, not just one. This changes the calculus for everyone involved. Three wishes means there could be enough for multiple parties to benefit, or it could simply intensify the competition to control all of them.
Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan begin racing toward the remaining Dragon Balls, hoping to gather them before the Ginyu Force intercepts. The countdown to the most dangerous battle on Namek has officially begun, and the margin for error has shrunk to nothing.
