Carrot Top

Manga ChapterCh. 17

The Rabbit Mob's boss, Monster Carrot, arrives with a dangerous trick up his sleeve: a single touch transforms anyone into a carrot. When Bulma is turned into produce, Goku, Yamcha, and Puar have to combine their efforts to reverse the curse and punt the mob into orbit.

Enter Monster Carrot

The villagers flee into their homes as the two battered Rabbit Mob henchmen stagger upright, assuring each other that the boss is on his way. Bulma presses them for details, but the thugs only warn that the group is about to be nibbled. Oolong suggests retreat, yet before anyone can move, Monster Carrot pulls up in a bunny-themed vehicle. The henchmen point Goku out as the one who beat them while Yamcha and Puar watch from behind a nearby house.

Rather than attack, Monster Carrot calmly extends a hand for a handshake. Yamcha recognizes the danger at once, but Bulma slaps the outstretched paw away before he can react, and in that instant she is transformed into an ordinary carrot. Enraged, Goku leaps from the car, and Oolong shouts at him to keep his distance and rely on the Power Pole before he suffers the same fate.

A Rescue and a Trip to the Moon

With the magic touch neutralized by Goku's reach, Monster Carrot resorts to a hostage play, threatening to bite Bulma unless Goku backs down. Oolong takes the opening and bolts. Yamcha and Puar finally step in: Puar shapeshifts into a bird and snatches the carrot Bulma from Monster Carrot's grip while Yamcha makes quick work of the henchmen. Freed from the standoff, Goku cracks Monster Carrot on the skull and forces him to undo the transformation, restoring Bulma to her usual self. As a final flourish, Goku extends the Power Pole all the way to the moon and strands Monster Carrot and his crew up there, telling them to spend their days making marshmallow treats for children.
