The final Dragon Ball in hand, Goku whisks Upa back to the Sacred Land of Korin to fulfill the promise made at his father grave. With Fortuneteller Baba quietly sensing a grand destiny in the boy, the seven orbs are finally united and the mighty Shenron rises to grant a long-awaited wish.
The Flying Nimbus streaks back to the waiting group with Goku and the seventh Dragon Ball safely aboard. Without wasting a moment, Goku tells Upa to climb on so the two can head straight for Korin Tower and the grave of Bora. As the boys fly off, the others linger behind and discuss Goku quiet determination. Fortuneteller Baba shares a vague but unshakable premonition: this unusual child is destined one day to save the entire world, a statement that leaves Master Roshi and the rest of the group thoughtful.
At the base of Korin Tower, Goku kneels beside the fresh grave and lays the seven Dragon Balls out in a neat arrangement on the open ground. He shouts the summoning call, and the sky above the Sacred Land darkens into an unnatural twilight. Clouds churn, lightning crackles, and the orbs blaze with a surge of ancient power as the gathered spheres release the force sealed within them for generations.
From the swirling light emerges Shenron, the towering Eternal Dragon, who looms over the boys and demands to know their wish. Upa, trembling but clear-voiced, begs the dragon to bring his father Bora back from the dead. Shenron eyes the request, confirms the terms, and grants it in a single blinding pulse of energy. Moments later the earth shifts atop the grave and the massive Bora rises whole and breathing, his wound healed and his spirit returned to him as if death had only been a brief interruption. Upa stares up at his restored father in stunned silence while Goku looks on, quietly satisfied that the debt owed to the brave guardian of Korin Tower has finally been paid in full.
