Vegeta Takes the Fight to Black

In the alternate timeline, Goku and Vegeta confront Black and reveal they know his true identity as Zamasu. Black confirms he killed the Goku of his own timeline and stole his body. Vegeta wastes no time transforming into Super Saiyan 2 and launching an aggressive assault, admitting he lost patience the instant he saw Black's stolen face. Black reveals his own Super Saiyan form, though neither Saiyan is particularly impressed. Vegeta steadily overpowers him, then ascends to Super Saiyan Blue. Black confesses he cannot reach that level, and Vegeta laughs before pummeling him relentlessly, calling the impostor a fake who could never properly wield the Saiyan cells in Goku's body.

Zamasu Destroyed in the Present

Meanwhile in Universe 10, the present-timeline Zamasu returns to find Beerus and Whis waiting alongside Gowasu. Zamasu lies about where he has been, but Beerus calmly reveals that Zamasu visited Zuno and asked about the Super Dragon Balls, body-swapping, and Son Goku. Gowasu demands an explanation. Then Shin appears, having used the Time Rings to travel through parallel worlds and witness Zamasu's future atrocities firsthand. Cornered, Zamasu drops his facade and declares his actions to be righteous. Beerus calls him delusional, catches his desperate attack with ease, and destroys him on the spot. Whis advises the stunned Gowasu to choose future apprentices by the quality of their souls rather than their power. Before the group relaxes, Shin reveals a crucial detail: Goku Black is not acting alone.

Future Zamasu Revealed

Back in the future, Vegeta hurls the beaten Black skyward and fires a devastating God Final Flash. Before the blast connects, a figure swoops in and rescues Black, landing on a nearby building and healing him to full strength. The stranger reveals himself as Future Zamasu, the Zamasu native to this alternate timeline, declaring that the two of them must work together to accomplish the Zero Mortals Project. The sight of a second Zamasu leaves everyone in stunned silence.
