Vegeta reveals a devastating strategy, switching between Super Saiyan God and Blue in rapid bursts to dominate Goku Black. Goku seals Future Zamasu with the Evil Containment Wave, only to discover he brought a cabaret club coupon instead of the talisman. With the seal broken, Black and Future Zamasu resort to their final trump card: Potara fusion.
Shin, Future Trunks, and Future Mai tend to the mortally wounded Gowasu. Shin charges at Black but Future Zamasu intercepts and knocks him down. Black descends to finish Gowasu, but Future Trunks orders Mai to flee with the injured Kai while he holds the line. The two Saiyans arrive in the Time Machine, and Vegeta sends Goku to distribute Senzu Beans while he engages Black.
Vegeta surprises Black by transforming into Super Saiyan God instead of Blue. When Black taunts the supposedly weaker form, Vegeta attacks with dramatically increased speed, barely blocked by Black. His secret: fighting in the stamina-efficient God form and switching to Blue for split-second bursts during each strike. Unlike Goku, who managed this switch only once against Hit, Vegeta performs it repeatedly without any power drop, the product of intense Hyperbolic Time Chamber training.
Black reels from the onslaught. Goku readies the Evil Containment Wave pot and intercepts Future Zamasu when he tries to assist Black. Goku transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, executes the technique flawlessly, and traps the shocked immortal inside.
Goku reaches for the talisman to lock the seal and pulls out a cabaret club coupon instead; the real talisman sits at Kame House. Future Zamasu bursts free. Goku shifts to Super Saiyan God and batters him, taunting that Black is merely using him. The psychological assault works: Future Zamasu confronts Black about unexpected obstacles. Vegeta moves to finish them, but Black calms his partner and removes his Potara. Goku recognizes the intent instantly. Both Zamasus dodge his attack, and Fused Zamasu emerges from the smoke.
