A sapient alien species whose bodies resemble living clay, Prum's Race exists in both Universe 2 and Universe 7. Their most notable member, Prum, competed in the Tournament of Power as a Universe 2 warrior, using his unusual body to reflect and redirect energy attacks.
Members of Prum's Race possess bodies that appear to be composed of a clay-like substance, giving them a distinctly amorphous and malleable appearance compared to most humanoid species in the Dragon Ball multiverse. This unusual physiology is not merely cosmetic. Their bodies can interact with energy in remarkable ways, functioning as reflective surfaces that redirect ki blasts toward targets of their choosing.
The species exists across at least two universes. In Universe 2, they produced the Tournament of Power competitor Prum. In Universe 7, at least one member of the race was identified among the Galactic Patrol Prisoners recruited by Moro during his assault on Earth, demonstrating that the species appears in multiple corners of the multiverse with varying allegiances.
Prum represented Universe 2 in the Tournament of Power, the desperate battle royale organized by the Omni-Kings where losing universes faced complete erasure. His fighting style relied on his race's natural ability to deflect energy attacks, making him a tactical nuisance rather than a direct powerhouse. By positioning himself strategically and using drone-like extensions of his body, Prum could redirect incoming blasts from unexpected angles, catching opponents off guard.
This indirect combat approach made Prum a unique threat on the tournament stage, where most fighters relied on brute strength or speed. However, his strategy had clear limitations against opponents who could close the distance and engage him physically, where his clay-like body proved far less resilient.
Beyond Prum himself, the most significant appearance of this race comes during the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga. A member of Prum's species was spotted among the criminals freed from the Galactic Patrol Prison by Moro, the ancient planet-eating sorcerer. This individual joined the Moro Corps during the assault on Earth, placing a member of this clay-bodied race on the opposite side of the conflict from where Prum had fought in the Tournament of Power.
The presence of this race in both Universe 2 and Universe 7 adds them to the list of species that exist as parallel populations across the multiverse, similar to the Saiyans, Namekians, and Frieza's race.
