A race of reptilian humanoids who have served in the Frieza Force since the era of Chilled, making them one of the oldest species in the galactic army. Their most notable member, Tobi, served the tyrant's ancestor directly.
Members of Tobi's race are reptilian humanoids standing at roughly the same height as Earthlings. They bear a resemblance to Frog-Face's race but are distinguished by their different face shape and the angle of the hood-like horns that protrude from their heads.
Their homeworld remains unknown, which is not uncommon for the many species absorbed into the Frieza Force over the centuries. What little is known about them comes primarily from their service record within the galactic military, which stretches back further than most other conscripted races.
The most notable member of this species is Tobi, an elite soldier who served under Chilled during the events of Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock. This places the race among the very first to be incorporated into the empire that would eventually become the Frieza Force, alongside species like Appule's race and Sui's race.
Their loyalty, or perhaps subjugation, spans generations. By the time of the Resurrection F storyline, another member of the race appears working under Sorbet and the newly revived Frieza. This soldier was among the army of one thousand henchmen who accompanied the tyrant to Earth in his bid for revenge against the Z Fighters.
Tobi's race holds the distinction of being one of the longest-serving species in the Frieza Force's history. From Chilled's earliest conquests to Frieza's modern campaigns, their presence in the ranks has been a constant, if unremarkable, fixture.
The fact that Tobi himself held elite status under Chilled suggests the race was not always relegated to the lowest tiers. Whether subsequent generations maintained that standing or gradually slipped down the hierarchy as more powerful species were conscripted remains unclear. What is certain is that they continued to serve, generation after generation, under one tyrant after another.
