A devastating eye beam attack used by Dr. Gero's Android models. Twin lasers fire from both eyes simultaneously with enough concentrated power to destroy an entire city block.
The Bionic Punisher channels energy through optical emitters built into the Android's eyes, releasing twin beams of concentrated energy. Unlike ki-based eye beams used by biological fighters, this is a built-in weapons system powered by the Android's internal reactor. The beams fire simultaneously from both eyes and converge at the point of impact, creating a combined explosion. The technique requires minimal charge time and can be deployed almost instantly, making it useful as both an offensive weapon and a tool of mass destruction.
Android 20 (Dr. Gero) makes the most dramatic use of this technique when he destroys half of Amenbo Island's South City suburb. After Goku suggests moving their fight away from populated areas, Gero responds by demonstrating exactly why through the Bionic Punisher, obliterating the surrounding city to prove the point is moot. Goku retaliates with an immediate punch to the face.
Android 19 fires the Bionic Punisher against Super Saiyan Goku during their battle, though Goku dodges it. Android 20 uses it again to prevent Piccolo from interfering when Goku begins suffering from the heart virus mid-fight. Android 16 also employs the technique during his confrontation with Cell, though by that point in the saga the power differential makes it largely ineffective.
The Bionic Punisher appears in the Budokai, Tenkaichi, and Xenoverse game series as a special move for Android characters. In Xenoverse 2, it is labeled as "Eye Beam" and can be learned by custom characters. The technique's instant activation and dramatic visual impact make it a popular choice for Android-focused builds in RPG-style Dragon Ball games.
