Full Nelson Body Change

Technique

The Full Nelson Body Change is a combination technique featured in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, performed jointly by Captain Ginyu and Turles. It combines Turles' physical strength in restraining the target with a Full Nelson hold while Ginyu executes his Body Change, eliminating the possibility of the target dodging the beam.

A Two-Man Con

The standard Body Change technique has one critical vulnerability: the target can dodge the beam or, as Goku demonstrated on Namek, throw another living being into its path. The Full Nelson Body Change eliminates this weakness through teamwork. Turles seizes the target from behind in an inescapable Full Nelson hold, locking their arms and preventing any movement. With the target completely immobilized, Ginyu fires his Body Change beam at point-blank range, making evasion impossible.

Video Game Origins

This technique exists exclusively within the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continuity, where Ginyu and Turles collaborate as part of various villainous storylines. The combination reflects a practical solution to a problem Ginyu experienced firsthand on Namek, where his inability to guarantee a clean hit on his target led to him being trapped in a frog's body for years. By adding a partner to the equation, the technique transforms from a high-risk gamble into a near-certain success, provided both fighters can coordinate their timing effectively.
