Holy Wrath

Technique

Fused Zamasu's most powerful energy attack: a sun-sized sphere of ki created on the tips of his fingers and expanded to enormous proportions. He declares "O great Holy Wrath, smite the wicked!" before launching it.

A Small Sun of Destruction

Fused Zamasu generates the Holy Wrath by creating a compact energy sphere on the tips of his index and middle fingers. The sphere starts small but rapidly expands as Zamasu feeds it more energy, growing to roughly the size of a skyscraper before he hurls it at his target. In the manga, the charging pose differs: Zamasu raises both hands above his head in a pose reminiscent of the Spirit Bomb before throwing the massive sphere forward.

The attack combines two of Zamasu's component techniques: the Black Power Ball (from Goku Black's moveset) and the God Splitter. The result is a technique that matches the fused deity's self-image: grandiose, righteous, and devastating.

Triple Beam Struggle

The Holy Wrath features in one of Dragon Ball Super's most intense beam struggles. Fused Zamasu launches it against Future Trunks and Vegeta's Father-Son Galick Gun. The two attacks collide and hold each other at bay until the strain becomes too great. Later, Zamasu fires another Holy Wrath that clashes with Goku's Kamehameha, resulting in a second prolonged energy struggle.

In his Mutated state, Fused Zamasu fires a modified version from his palm at Super Saiyan Blue Vegito. The contrast in their power is immediately apparent: Vegito blocks and shatters the enormous sphere with a single hand, barely acknowledging it as a threat. In the manga, Perfected Super Saiyan Blue Goku manages to redirect the attack after a brief struggle.

Divine Variants

The Holy Wrath has an enhanced version called Divine Wrath: Purification, used by Fused Zamasu in his Grotesque and Halo forms. In Xenoverse 2, the standard Holy Wrath functions as a chargeable Super Attack with three levels of size and damage, while Divine Wrath: Purification serves as a separate Ultimate Skill. Both are available to custom characters. In FighterZ, the technique is simply called Divine Wrath. Sparking! Zero includes it as one of Fused Zamasu's Blast 2 attacks.
