Appearance

This creature has no fixed body at all, existing instead as a churning volume of water with a pair of eyes suspended somewhere within it. Those eyes swell larger the more liquid it takes in. Feeding on the oil of Sludge Jellyfish thickens it into a rounder, more gelatinous mass, and after it drinks in the sea its bulk towers over the tallest buildings, its eyes alone growing broader than an aircraft carrier.

Personality

Widely regarded as the most dangerous thing the Monster Association kept, it behaves with almost no mind of its own and proved impossible to tame, which is why Psykos locked it away inside a sealed vault. Any trace of hostility aimed its way registers instantly, and it will hound whoever produced that feeling without letup. A flicker of cunning does survive beneath the blankness, though, since it knew to drain oil from Sludge Jellyfish so it could shrug off Child Emperor's ice.

History

Gyoro Gyoro produced the monster unintentionally while experimenting and, finding no way to keep it obedient, shut it inside a Monster Association vault. During the heroes' assault on the base, a cornered monster flung that vault open out of desperation, and the released water surged forth, drowning its liberator before turning on Atomic Samurai's disciples and Narinki's mercenaries. Tongara took a grave wound covering the group's retreat, and the creature burst through the collapsing cavern the heroes had triggered to slow it.

Child Emperor later cornered it and flash-froze it with a Block Snowman unit, only for the monster to siphon oil out of Sludge Jellyfish, lower its freezing point, and puncture the boy's leg with a jet of water before nearly drowning him. Tatsumaki's barrier saved him, and her uprooting of the base buried the water, yet it reformed without a scratch to menace Iaian and Atomic Samurai above ground. Superalloy Darkshine shrugged off its high-pressure streams and burst it apart with a single punch, thanking it for the refreshing shower, but it simply gathered itself back together. When King arrived it held its fire, reading no bloodlust in him, while Garou's hostility drew an instant volley that Garou scattered outright.

Seeping into the sea, it swelled into Evil Ocean Water, one eye alone dwarfing the carrier it capsized. Sage Centipede hailed it as the Incarnation of Mother Sea, and the two turned on Garou until Saitama skimmed across the surface and cleaved the ocean with a Serious Punch, dispersing it. It endured even that, reduced to a small puddle, and resurfaced far later while Pig God hunted Monster Association survivors. It drove a water jet through Air's throat and wounded Pig God as he tried to eat it, but his powerful stomach acids finally dissolved the creature for good.
