Robin's Liberation! Luffy vs. Lucci: Peak of the Decisive Battle

Released from her Seastone cuffs by Franky, Robin is herself again, and with no way back the pair decide to seize the very ship Spandam meant to use for her transfer. Vice-Admiral Doberman, one of the Buster Call respondents, arrives first and blasts the stockade, then fires on the Tower of Justice, sending its broken upper half crashing into the waterfall. Usopp barely escapes as the collapse takes the drawbridge with it. Zoro and Sanji realize the open Gates of Justice have drained the surrounding waterfalls, clearing a straight path for the warships.

Under the Bridge of Hesitation, Luffy's Gear 2 wears off mid-fight as he pants from the strain. Lucci deduces Luffy is doping his blood by pumping it with his legs, a move that would burst a normal heart but works only thanks to his rubber organs, at the cost of his lifespan. Luffy dismisses the danger, furious that Lucci treats his crew's plight as a game. Anticipating the Straw Hats' escape route, Lucci rips open a wall to flood the chamber and tunnel where Nami, the unconscious Chopper, Zoro, Sanji, and others are gathered. Robin and Franky crush Spandam's reinforcements, but the rest of the Buster Call fleet arrives and targets the whole island, sparing only Robin on Aokiji's orders.

The episode adapts material from Chapters 420 and 421 and debuts characters Doberman, Momonga, Onigumo, Yamakaji, and Strawberry. An animation error spells MARINE as MARNE on the warships at the end.
