Shachi

Of average build and lean, Shachi keeps his red hair, drawn brown in the anime, at shoulder length and is seldom seen without sunglasses. He wears the crew's usual outfit, a beige boilersuit carrying their Jolly Roger on both the back and the chest pocket, paired with brown boots and a blue cap that has a red brim, with tattoos showing on his forearms. After the timeskip he traded the cap for one styled like an orca, the killer whale his name points to. Over in Wano he switched to a dark yukata marked with the crew emblem on each shoulder and hung a sword at his left hip.

In the mold of Penguin, Shachi is an easygoing, likable sort with a soft spot for women and a steadfast devotion to his captain Law. That mellow adult manner contrasts with his teenage years, when he behaved as a bully who taunted others and chased after fights. Raised near a North Blue port, he swims with real skill, and he can take in a huge mouthful of water and shoot it back out as a narrow, accurate stream that strikes small distant targets. He held firm against the burst of Haki that Rayleigh let loose at the auction house, admitting only that it nearly knocked him out, and he wields a katana that saw use defending Zou and storming Onigashima.

A native of the North Blue, Shachi was born on Swallow Island. Together with Penguin he once started a brawl with the polar-bear mink Bepo, only for a wandering Law to knock the two of them out using his Devil Fruit, and the three later banded together under Law and founded the Heart Pirates, cutting their way through Paradise to reach the Sabaody Archipelago. There Shachi stood behind his captain among the assembling Supernovas, watched the chaos at the auction house, and helped the crew fight free of the Marines, taking on a Pacifista before they slipped away.

When the Summit War raged, the Heart Pirates surfaced near Marineford to save a dying Luffy, drawing him and Jinbe aboard the submarine and diving clear of the admirals' attacks. They afterward carried Luffy to Amazon Lily for treatment at Boa Hancock's invitation. Across the timeskip, while Law rose to Warlord status and lingered at Punk Hazard, Shachi and the others waited on Zou under Nekomamushi's care, fighting beside the Mink Tribe once the Beasts Pirates invaded.

Back with Law in Wano, Shachi was among those seized and confined in the Rasetsu District Prison as bait, with Basil Hawkins trying his power out on him before Law's resolve forced the trio loose. He battled through the Onigashima raid, helped Franky hold the Right-Brain Tower, and joined the celebration of the alliance's win before sailing off once more. En route to the next island the crew fell into a Blackbeard Pirates ambush and caught the Feminization Disease; Shachi briefly became a woman until Law's antibodies cured everyone, after which he used his water jets to blow apart Doc Q's exploding apples in midair and harassed the enemy vessel from beneath the waves.
