Fukurou's Miscalculation! My Cola is the Water of Life

Combat reshuffles across the Tower of Justice. Nami climbs to confront Kalifa, leaving Chopper to hold off Kumadori in Arm Point. Chimney and Gonbe haul a half-drowned Luffy from the water twice over, then reveal a hidden passage that brings him to a colossal steel door. With no key in hand, Luffy resorts to a brand new technique to break it open. Meanwhile Franky chases Fukurou through the halls, desperate to reach a kitchen stocked with the cola that fuels his body.

Luffy unleashes Gear 3 for the first time, shown only as a shadow, blowing a huge hole where the door stood and afterward shrinking to a tiny chibi shape. Spandam panics at the crash, but Lucci coolly deduces the pirates broke through after a girl and her rabbit tailed them, then is ordered to rush Robin to the Gates of Justice. Nami reaches Kalifa's room and finds her undressing for a bath behind a veil. Franky and Fukurou brawl while hurling clothing-themed insults, smashing into the kitchen where Chopper locks Kumadori inside a giant refrigerator. After being tossed bottles of vegetable juice and tea that trigger absurd Franky personas, Chopper finally finds real cola, and a recharged Franky levels Fukurou with a Strong Hammer.

The episode marks the technical debut of Gear 3 alongside several Franky and Fukurou moves. Chopper still resents Franky for the earlier beating of Usopp but sets it aside to help save Robin. The running gag of Franky adopting onion-haired and farmer alter egos when fed the wrong drinks supplies the comic relief. The Luffy and Chopper eyecatcher is used, and Sanji appears only in flashback.
