Running Wild! Invincible General Franky

Inside the towering General Franky, Franky spots Baby 5 and Buffalo closing in, the former mistaking his machine for a Pacifista before he opens fire. Her machine gun answers back, kicking up a dust cloud that briefly convinces her the robot is destroyed, yet the smoke lifts to show it untouched. With no other option, Baby 5 reaches for her Buki Buki no Mi: she becomes a knife, which Franky's sword parries, then shapes herself into a missile whose blast wrecks part of the robot and the tail of the SAD tanker. Not far off, Caesar comes to, takes hold of what he assumes is Smoker's heart, and steadies himself to plunge a blade into it.

Within building R, the gathered crew and Marines grow uneasy as the gate begins to descend, the petrifying Shinokuni now only a few hundred meters away. Luffy will not board the cart until every straggler is accounted for. Brook arrives first, carrying Kin'emon's stone form; close behind come Chopper, an unconscious Mocha, and the medics from G-5. Usopp then turns up with a fistful of Seastone cuffs handed to him by Caesar's defectors, though he needed only one, while Momonosuke is left horrified at his petrified father. Everyone piles aboard the transport cart to flee and rejoin Franky.

Over in Dressrosa, Doflamingo gives Vergo a last word of gratitude for his service. Monet calls in afterward and is told to set off the same self-destruct system that once destroyed two earlier labs. Conjuring a soft artificial snowfall to clear her head, she bids her captain goodbye and presses the switch, unleashing a tremendous explosion that rocks the mountain base.

This installment draws from Chapter 693 and pages of Chapter 694, and it carries a 9.2 rating. The robot's brawl is stretched longer than the source: Baby 5 is fooled into thinking her gatling fire finished it, Franky pauses over his General Shield before throwing it, and he lobs it twice rather than the single throw in print. The General is also shown drawing its blade. Fresh material includes the whole laboratory crowd boarding the rail car, Usopp gathering the Seastone restraints, and Monet making it snow ahead of pressing the button.
