A Great Escape! Luffy's Tide-turning Elephant Gun

Doflamingo confronts Luffy, Law, and Ucy in the slanted well where they have fallen. Enraged, Luffy throws a punch that is blocked with ease, and Doflamingo mocks them for stumbling into the trap before firing string shots that down the bull and knock Luffy into the water. Even so, he praises Luffy's knack for gathering allies under impossible conditions and questions why Law would side with him, calling Law a coward. Stung, Law shouts that he will never become like Doflamingo after being saved. As Doflamingo readies another string shot, Abdullah and Jeet slash and pierce him from behind.

The figure proves to be yet another clone. Abdullah and Jeet haul Luffy, Law, and Ucy from the water, and Jeet reveals that Kelly Funk betrayed them, only for the clone to cut Kelly down in turn.

Elsewhere, a bounty hunter takes aim at Kyros, but an old man stops the shot, and after Kyros saves him, the civilian turns the rifle on Kyros yet relents when Kyros declares he will bring down Doflamingo. Back in the well, Abdullah reports the gladiator army has reached the second tier while Kyros nears the first. With the executives bracing for the onslaught, Luffy smashes through the ceiling with Elephant Gun, carving a passage straight into the midst of the Colosseum army. As Gladius scolds the distracted subordinates, Chinjao exploits the chaos and pushes toward the third level. Bartolomeo, meanwhile, scatters attackers below Robin's group by threatening to urinate on them.

At the SMILE factory, Inhel and the Tontatta arrive with a plan but need Franky to deal with Senor Pink first, which he agrees to even as Pink slams him from behind. On the ground, Sabo keeps clashing with Fujitora. In the palace, Doflamingo laments that his clone failed and asks Diamante and Trebol if they recall meeting Law. He resolves that he must kill the man who once mirrored him, recalling his first sight of Law: a young child strapped with explosives, infiltrating his lair, begging to join the crew so he could destroy everything in sight, raised in the white city and not long for the world.

The episode is part of the Dressrosa Arc. In the manga Doflamingo used a single Bullet Thread to fell Ucy, but here he fires several. The Sabo and Issho clash is extended. The anime adds the old man's standoff with Kyros, Gladius detonating falling rubble while his panicked subordinates flee, Bartolomeo's urination threat with the implication he cannot form a barrier without crossing his fingers, and a shot of Bellamy arriving at the palace.
