Just beyond the colosseum, Zoro and Kin'emon look for a discreet entrance but get noticed by Bartolomeo, who gushes over Zoro and reflects on the swordsman's feats at Whisky Peak and Enies Lobby, certain he is the crew's true second-in-command. Among the Donquixote ranks, Baby 5 and Gladius seethe over Violet's treachery and mention her far-reaching sight.

Sanji and Violet dash for the Sunny on a toy horse while she sweeps the island with her Devil Fruit, which spans roughly four thousand kilometers, and abruptly catches the ship being hit by lightning. Aboard the mended Sunny, the Straw Hats finish thrashing Giolla and set course for Green Bit, and Nami zaps the gloating fish-woman once more.

On Green Bit, Law discloses that the heart Doflamingo crushed belongs to a Marine rather than Caesar. Recognizing Nami's lightning, Law uses Shambles to trade places with a rock, breaks free of Fujitora's gravity, and grabs Caesar again before fleeing to draw Doflamingo onto the bridge. When the warlord wheels toward the oncoming Sunny, Sanji shows up and blocks him.

Holding Zoro in the same esteem as Luffy, Bartolomeo regards the swordsman as second-in-command aboard the crew. Zoro and Kin'emon stay put at the colosseum. Gladius, a member of Pica's Army, gets a formal introduction. Violet's Giro Giro no Mi is confirmed to let her watch the entire island, and Fujitora's power is verified as the control of gravity.

Doflamingo states that he is no longer a World Noble. The heart he was holding turns out to be a Marine's, not Caesar's. Law slips Fujitora's grasp and recovers Caesar once again. Doflamingo moves to strike the Sunny but is halted by Sanji, marking the cook's first one-on-one fight against a Warlord and Doflamingo's first encounter with a Straw Hat.

The cover continues the Caribou tale with Gaburu the Hero as the crew celebrates. In a single panel on page nineteen, Sanji is drawn with his older stubbled goatee rather than his fuller post-timeskip beard, an error corrected in the very next panel.
