Kyoko Higurashi

Higurashi worked on Dragon Ball during its original television run, providing in-between animation for 10 episodes across the Emperor Pilaf Saga through the General Blue Saga. She also contributed key animation to the iconic episode "Kame House Found!", helping bring Krillin and Goku's reunion to life. Her film contributions included in-between work on Curse of the Blood Rubies and Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan.

Higurashi's work represents the skilled labor behind Dragon Ball's smooth visual flow. Early Dragon Ball animation required meticulous in-between work to maintain character consistency and motion fluidity across hundreds of frames. Her contributions extended to other classic anime and theatrical productions, including work on Castle in the Sky and Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise.
