Mario Zucca

Mario Zucca lent his distinctive, deep voice to King Piccolo (the Great Demon Piccolo) in the Italian dub of Dragon Ball, bringing menace and gravitas to the series' major antagonist. He also voiced the God of Earth, contributing to the Italian localization of key Dragon Ball characters. His rough-timbered, powerful voice made him ideal for authoritative and villainous roles in anime dubbing.

Beyond anime, Zucca built a multifaceted career as a theater performer, comedian, and voice actor. He became known for a catchphrase launched in a 1987 television appearance and appeared regularly on Italian television variety shows throughout the 1990s. His voice acting extended to numerous cartoons, including roles in Power Rangers (Zordon), SpongeBob (Mr. Krabs), Batman animated series (Bane, Mr. Freeze), and One Piece, establishing him as a prolific dubbing voice in Italian entertainment.
